Welcome Puerto Rico!
It
is with great pleasure that NFRW welcomes Puerto Rico back to the
National
Federation! The Puerto Rico Federation of Republican Women has now been
established. National President Sue Lynch and I traveled to Puerto Rico
and the
trip proved to be most successful with the establishment of not one, but
THREE
new clubs! A fourth club will soon follow.
It
was such an incredible experience! We had the opportunity to meet with a
remarkable group of women. A program spotlighting the benefits of the
National Federation was featured at the meeting. These talented women
eagerly assumed leadership roles in the new clubs and the Puerto Rico
Federation.
We
also had the wonderful opportunity to meet with First Lady Luce' Vela at
the
Governor's Mansion. Another highlight of the trip was meeting with
Speaker of the House Jennifer Gonzalez, who is just thirty-four years
old. Both are new members of Puerto Rico Federation of Republican
Women.
Special
thanks are extended to Gloria Escudero Morales, Deputy Finance Director
of
Puerto Rico Republican Party and Zoraida Fonalledas, Esq, RNC National
Committeewoman of Puerto Rico, for their efforts in creating this
amazing
new addition to NFRW. Gloria will serve as the President of the Puerto
Rico Federation of Republican Women. We also thank Ricardo Aponte,
Esq.,
the Executive Director of the Republican Party of Puerto Rico, for his
support
and hospitality.
